By accessing or using Canv~Us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service, including users of the free Starter tier, paid Family tier, and Business tier.

Canv~Us provides a digital spatial horizon for personal, family, and business organisation. The service includes:

• Real-time horizon synchronisation across devices via Supabase.
• Calendar integrations via Nylas Timeline Bridges (Google, Apple, Microsoft).
• AI-assisted organisation tools powered by Google Gemini.
• Role-based household and business environments (Caretaker, KidsBoard, FridgeMode).
• Local file browsing via the File System Access API (zero-upload guarantee).

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You retain all ownership rights to the content, files, and text you place on your horizons.
• You agree not to use Canv~Us to store, share, or distribute illegal content, malware, or material that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the Canv~Us platform or APIs.

Canv~Us provides specific environments — such as Caretaker Environments and KidsBoards — that allow administrators to restrict access for other users.

You are solely responsible for managing the permissions, roles, and access levels of the users you invite to your Horizons (workspaces). Canv~Us is not liable for content shared within privately managed Horizons.

Certain features of Canv~Us (such as Family and Business tiers) require a paid subscription.

• Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to the billing cycle.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• Previously paid charges are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

Canv~Us is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for maximum uptime and data integrity, we are not liable for:

• Any data loss or workflow interruptions arising from the use of our service.
• Issues related to third-party API outages (e.g., Google Calendar, Apple iCloud, Nylas).
• Damages of any kind arising from the use or inability to use Canv~Us.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

Users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or the CCPA respectively. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how to exercise those rights.

Your use of Canv~Us is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

• Children under 13 may only access Canv~Us through a parent-managed household account in compliance with COPPA.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
• Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days, with residual backup data expiring within 90 days.
• All payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe — we never store your payment card details.
